About Concisely

We’re the literary little guys. Four times a year we publish a small print magazine of stories under 500 words, which you can get your hands on for just $3. Visit the Purchase page to order the most recent issue or a subscription (we’ve also got back issues).

Though they’re all under 500 words, the stories in Concisely are an eclectic mix. Our pages contain romance, humor, horror, fantasy, memoir, and more (but no ads). Our stories are hilarious, bittersweet, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking. Our writers include students, hobbyists, and professionals from around the world. And most issues feature at least one writer who’s never been published before. You can check out some of the work we’ve published on our Samples page.
